About

I’m a 29 year old female who is learning how to date.

At the age of 23, I had zero dating experience. (Read more in the introduction.) I knew I wanted to be in a happy, long-term relationship, but I had no idea how to get there. After feeling hopelessly stuck for a long time, I eventually realized my inexperience wasn’t a permanent condition. I was a decade behind most of my peers, but, like most things, dating was a skill I could learn.

This blog is my attempt to share what I’ve learned so far, help people in similar situations feel less alone and to keep me motivated. It’s also where I’ll share interesting things I find where data analysis and relationships intersect.

If there was a diet where I could lose 20 lbs by eating peanut butter, I would do it! From what I’ve read of your blog so far, you do seem to be very candid, and that’s a quality anyone can appreciate. Keep up the great posts, I look forward to them 🙂

  2. I’ve been married for over 30 years, (yeah, we were really young). The secret to a long relationship is to find a spirit mate. A physical relationship will slow down, and we are constantly changing, which means a soul mate may not mesh with us when we hit mid life. But a spirit mate, one who believes the same way you do, never ends. It is constantly growing and improving. Thanks for following my blog.
